Silk which contains sericin is called raw silk. Whilst pure silk has the gum removed, this silk retains it by using a coarse spinning process which gives it a knobbly appearance. It has a shiny and lustrous surface. Width is 112 cm and weight 100 gsm , this fabric will make beautiful coats, jackets and will dye with ease.
