The extract which is offered to you yields deep rich purples to blues. The trees grow in Mexico, Brazil, Madagascar, some parts of India, Central America and a few other regions. Mixed with iron it will give you a black which is not easy to achieve with many natural dyes. Good wash fastness however moderate light fastness, it is suggested to protect from exposure to strong sunlight for lengthy periods of time.
