This beautifully textured silk is a rustic silk made from the waste Mulberry Silk without removing its sericin. The yarn is largely obtained from Karnataka and Kashmir, it is woven in West Bengal. It might appear like a fine linen but it has a beautiful sheen. It is easy to work with, dyes beautifully and is the perfect fabric to make jackets or furnishings.
Soak for a few hours prior to dyeing.
